Da Real Eau Potable Tizi Tiziano Too
I used a rap name generator to make this title because I couldn't think of one.

I don't really have a whole lot to say for myself this week.

Someone crashed their car into the 18 tram on Wednesday morning. This was really inconvenient for me because I had to be at the Prévessin site by 9 AM for radiation training. I had to walk really far, and I was late, but I got to see a plane land right over my head, so it wasn't all bad.

I know you've been dying to see the avocado, so I'll put it in the beginning this time.

i <3 the jet d'Eau
My goal is to make myself sick of the Jet d'Eau by August. That way I won't be sad when I have to leave.

I've always want to go up to the Jet d'Eau when it's falling onto the walkway, but as you can see in this picture, they tilt it away from the walkway when that's happening. I have looked at this thing every day for almost 6 months and I didn't know that.

It makes sense why they tilt it. The water coming down is pretty powerful, and someone would surely fall into the water and get hurt if they let it hit the walkway.

It's so powerful that sometimes, on calm days, you'll see sailboats sailing off of the wind generated by the falling water.

I feel like I don't take enough pictures of the stuff I see every day. I'm used to it all right now, but I know that once I have been home for a couple months, this stuff will be really interesting again.

They're making my favorite book into a movie.
It's been difficult, but I've slowly come to terms with this. My strategy is to keep them isolated. This way, the book's intricacies won't ruin the movie's simplifications, and the movie's broad strokes won't fill in the book's details.

The good news is it looks amazing.
That's from last week.

I've mostly been working on my paper and my project during the day at CERN, and taking pictures and swimming when I get home.

Ben and Helen thought they would take a break from Paris, and come to Geneva for a couple of days. We went to Bains des Pâquis to get fondue and rode the ferris wheel on Wednesday.

And this is why we don't understand 85% of the matter that makes up the universe ⇩.
I hope that you have a good week.
