Rainstorms in Geneva and in Lausanne
I am living in Switzerland for four more weeks.

Just think of all the stuff you could do in four weeks.

I really don't have a whole lot of new content.

Europe had another heat wave, and they don't do air conditioning. At one point my office in Prévessin was 94 F.

It's been hot hot hot in the day and then we'll get these really intense rains in the evening.

On Friday we went to Pieter's house in France for dinner. Pieter is from Belgium and he taught our computational class in February/March.

I didn't get any good pictures, but he made us a lot of food and his 3 year old daughter Sophia ran around shooting us with a water gun.
Ben came to hang out again.

We went to a music festival in Lausanne on Saturday to see Ladji, the musician from Mali that we met in Montreux. Unfortunately it rained, but I had my regenponcho from Lucerne, and everyone showed up with a winning attitude, so it all worked out in the end.

Ben and I went for a swim on Sunday, which is always refreshing.
I made a map of the dominant colors of each country using satellite images.

This is something that I have been messing with on and off, but I now have a page that outlines my approach. If you're interested, the page can be found here.

Next week will likely be more interesting. I have big plans.
